Neonatology services from NUmed Hospital are led by a nationally recognized group of neonatologists. This group provides 24-hour onsite care for fragile and premature infants. These neonatologists have helped improve the health of several premature and fragile full-term infants.

The staff of the Neonatology service at NUmed Hospital is dedicated to providing the highest quality care to new-borns and their parents. They provide a wide range of services, including developmentally appropriate care for premature infants. They also offer physical and occupational therapies, a breastfeeding room, and lactation support services. They are also involved in research projects, including telemedicine and the effects of nutrition on micro-RNA expression.

Our division of Neonatology provides comprehensive care for neonates, including premature and full-term infants with complex neonatal disorders. The division also has an Intensive Care Nursery, where neonates can be treated for persistent pulmonary hypertension and respiratory failure. Additionally, the division provides comprehensive care for complex surgical conditions.
